Our Purpose

At Vital Means we're all about real community and in-person events. We're social creatures and we need interactions, especially after a prolonged period of lockdown and social isolation. Here, in the NSW Central Coast rainforest, we've created an environment for you to connect to yourself, nature and others.Together, we're building a community rooted in wellbeing and committed to growth. An intentional community, where, even at a time when it is easy to feel disconnected, our gatherings will create and strengthen a network of authentic, emerging relationships. We host regular one-day experiences on a semi-rural property in Darkinjung Country, one hour away from Sydney or Newcastle. Designed for you to get out of the city, out of the ever repeating known, and experience the best nature and community have to offer. Our Commitment to nature & community

What we do has to be supported by how we do it. Taking care of nature and giving back to our community is imperative for us.We’re powered by 100% renewable energy. Treated water from our septic system is used for the garden. We’ve regenerated our front garden from 80% weeds to 100% native plants. Most of our interior consists of vintage or local pieces. Our toilet paper is sourced from sustainably conscious Who Gives A Crap that donates 50% of profits to help build toilets and ensure everyone has access to safe water. We encourage the retreat participants to book local accomodation over the weekend and explore the Central Coast, so other local businesses and individuals can also benefit from our event. Food we serve is sourced from local farmers and growers (i.e. organic vegetables, honey from our bush, local bread, etc.).And we’re not going to stop here. We constantly look for ways to improve, have zero impact on nature and maximum impact on our community.

vital community - testimonials

Vital Means wellbeing day is the perfect escape from the city. The day was planned beautifully, with activities that allowed us to bond with others, and also go inward and spend some time with ourselves. Katia the host was fantastic, going the extra mile to ensure everyone was comfortable and gave a really powerful knowledge session to the group which left everyone reflecting on their own experiences. We got to spend time in nature with a rainforest walk, and the sound healing was the perfect way to top off the day. If you want to take some time out for yourself and meet like-minded people while you're at it, I couldn't recommend this booster highly enough!

Lara, Business Owner

A truly incredible day of rejuvenation and reflection. As a busy professional, it's easy to lose sight of what truly matters, including our health, purpose, and relationships. Vital Means provides the space and guidance to reclaim these things and help us be our very best selves.

Soroush, Head of Engineering

After a day at Vital Means booster I came away feeling more connected to myself, and to others, than I had in some time. The day was a healing blend of introspection, time in nature and time getting to know some new people in a really calm environment. I'm an introvert and coming out of lockdown only recently I was worried I'd be overwhelmed with the group setting, but on the contrary everyone was so great and I left feeling energised. Katia is a natural host and keeps you laughing, thinking and full of delicious food and snacks all day. Highly recommend Vital Means if you're feeling a bit misaligned or burnt out - I came away feeling like I'd done something really good for myself.

Ella, Entrepreneur

Vital Means was the perfect circuit breaker from the often stressful routine of everyday life. It gave me the opportunity to slow down, connect to the moment, appreciate nature, meet some amazing people and learn some important life lessons. I came away feeling connected, inspired and rejuvenated. A heartfelt thanks to the Vital Means team for a perfect day! I'm looking forward to the next one!
